Baby scare

Posted by John on March 23rd, 2006

Yesterday morning the baby wasn’t moving a lot. He usually moves a few times every hour or so, but that morning he just wasn’t very active. The book says that if you can’t count 10 movements within 4 hours, it’s best to go see the doctor. We also heard about a mom who saved her baby by going to the doctor in time.

So we both took off and went to see the doctor. Becky was hooked to a monitor machine for about 20 mins, and the nurse kept pushing on her tummy, trying to wake the baby up. At first the baby just wiggled a little bit, but then he punched the tummy very strongly, seemingly very annoyed.

In the end all was fine, guess he was just very sleepy.
