Eye Floaters
Posted by John on March 23rd, 2006
Becky has been seeing this dot in her left eye, which blurres her vision a little bit. At first we thought it would go away after a while, but it’s been there for over a month. So we finally went to the doctor. He said it’s a very normal problem, it’s called floater and it may or may not go away. And it’s caused by malnutrition among other things. If you’ve seen Becky recently, you’ll know that she’s not malnutritioned. On the contrary…
Luckily, a quick search on Google brought up this page:
Sometimes pregnant women see spots caused by little bits of protein trapped within the eye.
Ok, so now we know why, we know they’re harmless and quite common. It still bugs me to think that she may see those spots from now on. Have heard/experienced a floater before?

i have a floater in my right eye. ain’t because i’m pregnant either. had it since i was a teenager. i had it checked out by the eye doctor years ago and he said it was fine. it’s a funny thing. it really does float. it’s not permanently stationed in one corner of my eye. i can watch it move around as i rotate my eyeball…

And it doesn’t bother you!?!? I guess you get used to it. Doctor said if it moves around with your eyeballs it’s fine. If not, it’s more serious.

FINE!!! The combo of your baby and me is very fat! We are beyond well-nutritioned.
Now seriously, I want this blurry little circle to go away. Any suggestions other than eating more kelp?
