iPod speaker

Posted by John on April 23rd, 2006

Yesterday I bought some iPod speakers for my iPod Nano. This is the inMotion from Altec Lansing:

inMotion

It cost me 1400RMB ($174.66), it has a remote control, works with all iPods, it has a line input, so you could use it with any mp3 player, or even your PC. It charges the iPod as soon as it is plugged, and it also can be connected to the PC to sync the iPod. It’s just perfect for what I needed. I can put it in my room, listen to my ipod and at the same time charge it. I will bring it to the hospital for labor and play some soothing music for Becky. Just a great iPod accessory.

How’s the quality of sound compared to the Bose model for iPods? Does it have a subwoofer? I’ve heard the Bose before but not the inMotion. The built-in charger comes very handy! I think it’s rather inconvenient to charge the iPod through computer USB. I might get one two!

I am not familiar with the Bose, but the inMotion quality is pretty good. Even though there’s no subwoofer, the bass is pretty heavy. Check out this review for more info. I am very satisfied with this product.

It works really well. Even though I thought this was rather expensive, I’m happier with its quality than I expected to be.
