New Flickr Gamma

Flickr has released its new interface design, and it is an improvement over the old one:
The navigation is now easier, you can get to any page from any page with just one click, thanks to the ajaxy menus at the top. This menu is also available for any buddy icon, which allows you to quickly visit someone else’s pages.
When browsing a photostream, there are now 18 photos per page (instead of 10), so it’s much quicker to browse.
The best change is the Organizer. It now utilizes the whole screen, so photo thumbnails are bigger and actions are easier to perform. It is easier to select photos and sets, and then perform back operations.
The search has improved considerably, allowing many more search criteria (photo by you, or your contacts, etc…). Personally I don’t use the search feature very often, so this change doesn’t affect me too much.
The most requested subsets feature is not available, but I am sure it will come pretty soon. Overall I am pretty happy with these upgrades, go to Flickr.com and check them our yourselves.
