Live Shoutbox

Posted by John on August 3rd, 2006

I just installed the Live Shoutbox plugin, which you can see on the right sidebar. Basically when you visit the site you can write a message, which will be displayed live (no need to reload the page), and everyone else can see it.

The idea is that if more people are visiting the site at the same time, they have a tool to communicate easily. Let’s see if it’s useful at all, and remember to leave a message!!

Update: I tried it, but the spammers win again. Even closing access to registered users only, they managed to leave spam messages. So this plugin is now disabled. Thanks for Tommy for trying it out. Ciao!
