Have you ever wanted to try blogging, but were afraid of the technical aspects? Fear not, I’ve got the perfect solution for you.
Go to www.vox.com, sign up for an account, and start blogging. Everything else will be taken care of by them. It is that simple. And it is absolutely free!! Here are some great features:
- Ever afraid of not knowing what to blog about? Everyday there’s a new “Question of the day” that you can answer.
- It is very easy to explore other blogs on Vox and see what other people are saying. If you have a weird hobby, I am sure you’ll find plenty of people who share your passion, and that you can “talk to”.
- Ever wanted to talk about a book, DVD or album and leave a link to it for your readers? Now you can easily import any product from Amazon.com into your posts, which will have a nice image and link back to Amazon.
- What about photos? Ever wanted to write a post with a photo? Now it is easier than ever. You can upload directly from your harddrive, or import them from your Flickr/Photobucket/iStockphoto account.
- And you can also upload any audio or video file and include in your post. For example you can share your favorite music, or a family video.
- With Vox you can change the look of your blog in very simple steps. You won’t need to worry about designing your blog, and incurring into problems during implementation.

Oggi giorno molte persone hanno un blog su internet, ma la maggior parte delle persone “normali” sono intimidite dalla tecnologia. Come si comincia un blog? Semplice, vai su www.vox.com, registrati e comincia a scrivere. Vox e’ un nuovo sito che facilita la creazione di blog. Ed e’ tutto gratis!!
Purtroppo non c’e’ ancora una versione in italiano, le uniche altre lingue sono francese e giapponese. Sono sicuro che in futuro ci sara’ anche italiano. Ma non e’ difficile da capire, ed e’ molto semplice da usare. E poi ci sono gia’ alcuni blog da italiani.
Ma cosa puoi fare con Vox?
- Se non sai cosa scrivere, ogni giorno c’e’ una “domanda del giorno”, per trovare ispirazione.
- E’ molto facile vedere cosa scrivono gli altri blogger. Se hai un hobby, puoi facilmente trovare altre persone con lo stesso hobby ed avere “conversazioni”. Per esempio io ho trovato molte persone che amano leggere fumetti americani. Ed adesso loro lasciano commenti nel mio blog, e vice versa
- E possible inserire una photo nel tuo post. Puoi inserirla direttamente dal tuo computer, oppure da Flickr, Photobucket, iStockPhoto.
- Puoi anche inserire un audio e video file. Per esempio un film di una tua gita in montagna, o la tua canzone preferita.
- Puoi cambiare il design del tuo blog molto facilmente, e non preoccuparti dei particolari.
- Una funzione molto importante e’ che puoi scegliere il tuo audience. Puoi decidere chi puo’ leggere i tuoi post, o vedere le tue foto, i tuoi amici o la tua famiglia, oppure il mondo.
