What I am doing

Posted by John on April 10th, 2008

With this blog I try to keep people updated on what is happening in my life. Unfortunately I only blog when there is something interesting to say, or some new photos. Which is why I haven’t written often, lately.

But what if you wanted to follow me more closely, on a daily basis? That’s what Twitter is for. Here’s a video explaining how it works, with Italian subtitles! (or click here).

You can follow me at Twitter. I have also integrated Twitter into this blog, so you will see recent Twitter messages in my right sidebar (thanks to Susan for recommending the plugin).

Hopefully you’ll like the service and start using it too. This way I can follow you on a daily basis too.

I must follow your twitter. I tried it last year for a while but than I quit. Ah, I changed my blog feed address and also switched to more personal topics… Most of all running and photography. Have a look ;)

John, I subscribe to your feed and the “permalinks” don’t work because (I think) you are tracking the item link clicks with Feedburner. Links that look like this (http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ibc/~3/267636197/) won’t work in China.

That happened to me before so I had to cancel the tracking. A lot of feeds have this tracking so I can’t access the permanent post from my reader, which kind of sucks. If I really want to read the post, I’d have to go to the main website and search for the exact post. But it’s an extra hassle and I don’t bother.

Not sure if you know about this, but your readers in China aren’t able to click to the permalinks.
