Potty training day 1

We just started potty training Logan and it’s not easy!! First day he peed in the potty two times, and five times in his pants. He hasn’t pooped yet, I think he doesn’t want to do it in the potty.
So far he never tells us if he wants to go, he just pees in his pants. That’s the frustrating part. Hopefully he’ll learn soon.

Take away his pants and he won’t be able to pee in them!

OK, maybe that sounds a little strange out of context so I’ll explain. Once I heard of a family that potty-trained their daughter by letting her run around the house without wearing any pants or diapers. She was too embarrassed to pee on the floor so she would run to the toilet and (no need to take off anything) just use it. I’m not sure if we are brave enough to try that with Charlotte, but the story sure stuck in my mind!

I’ve heard of a similar story, but I’m not sure Logan will do that. I have a feeling he’ll just find a spot other than the potty and do it there
But it’s easier for girls, so you’re lucky.
