You are visiting my personal blog, called Italian Born Chinese.

The title comes from ABC (American Born Chinese), of which there are many in America, whose parents are either from Taiwan or Hong Kong. Many of my colleagues/friends here in Shanghai are ABC, but I am the only IBC.

My parents are from Taiwan, I was born and grew up in Milano, Italy, and I moved here in Shanghai in 2002. People here are very surprised when I start talking in Italian and are fascinated (or horrified) by me. Being an IBC really defines what I am, so I decided to title this website IBC.

In this blog I will post stories about Shanghai, some tech related content, but mainly I will write about myself, my lovely wife Becky and our son Logan, and our life together.
